Knorr
Post-production and sound design for a recipe video series, where the right audio makes cooking look as easy as it actually is.
Food video audio that actually makes you hungry
Recipe videos live and die by sensory appeal. When Knorr set out to show how quick and easy it is to get a delicious meal on the table, the audio had to do as much heavy lifting as the cinematography. Weak post-production would flatten the whole thing, but the right sound design makes every sizzle, pour, and plate-up feel genuinely satisfying.
Sound design as appetite stimulant
We approached the Knorr series the way a food photographer approaches a shot: get every detail right, because the details are the point. The cooking sounds, water boiling, vegetables hitting the pan, the scrape of a spoon, were treated as a kind of music in their own right. The mix was built to feel clean and appetising, with the music bed sitting just low enough to keep the food front and centre.
Craft in every frame
Sound design
Foley-inspired kitchen sounds, sizzles, pours, chops, built up layer by layer to make every step feel tactile and satisfying.
Post-production
Full audio post from rough cut to delivery, synced to picture and finished for online and broadcast platforms.
Audio mix
A clean, balanced mix that puts food sound front and centre while supporting the overall pacing and energy of the edit.
Audio that makes people actually try the recipe
A recipe video that sounds right is a recipe video people finish watching. The Knorr series was built to hold attention from the first sizzle to the last plate.
